What to Expect:
This isn't your typical workshop. We're using sewing and upcycling as an excuse to connect, create, and build community. No sewing experience needed—just bring an open mind and a garment you'd like to transform.
The Experience:
Speed Networking (20 min): Meet everyone through rotating 1-on-1 conversations. Share your story, your projects, and what you're curious about.
Creative Workshop (90 min): Sit down and get hands-on. Paint fabrics, add patches, modify garments, or create something entirely new. All materials provided—just bring a piece of clothing you want to transform (or we'll provide fabric to work with).
Community Circle (15 min): Share what you created and who you connected with. Celebrate the experience together.
Casual Lunch: Stay for food and continue the conversations.
What We Provide: Paints, brushes, fabric scraps, thread, needles, scissors, and light refreshments.
What to Bring: An old garment you'd like to upcycle (optional) and curiosity to meet new people.
