Future of Silicon Valley Founders & Policymakers at One Table #SFTechWeek

Silicon Valley builds the future. Sacramento decides how much of it is legal. In California, Newsom's term is up, and Californians are picking his successor — Xavier Becerra, the former U.S. HHS Secretary running on stronger AI guardrails, and Steve Hilton, the former Fox News host running on rolling regulation back. The world of technology is not only the path founders build, but also regulators writing the next chapter of how AI, tokenized assets, and other fields actually get regulated in this state. This Tech Week, APAPA is pulling founders and policymakers to the same table — the people building these products, sitting across from the people who might write the rules they live under. No panel, no script, no PR spin. APAPA (Asian Pacific American Public Affairs) inspires, engages, and empowers the next generation of AAPI leaders through civic education and public affairs — from youth leadership programs to gubernatorial debates. This is that mission, brought to Tech Week. This event is a part of #SFTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
