The City of Avondale, in partnership with Tesoro.vc and Freeway, is redefying the rules of the pitch competition. We’re moving the hustle from the boardroom to the asphalt for the Avondale Venture 500: Race to Investment—a speed-pitching event built exclusively for the boldest tech founders and investors. This is a high-speed collision of capital, innovation, and adrenaline. And everyone is invited to watch the action live!
Select startups will deliver their business case live to a curated pool of investors from the backseat of a professional pace car. As a pro driver navigates the official NASCAR track at intense speeds, founders have 500 seconds — or eight minutes — to get on the track, make their case, and close a deal. It’s venture capital at full throttle.
Choose Your Lane:
• The Hot Seat: Think you can close a deal at 85+ mph? Registration for this high-intensity pressure test is now open - see *Apply to Pitch* link above to start your application. (Selected founders will be assigned to either a morning or afternoon pitch session.)
• The Fan Forum: Not ready for the hot seat? Witness every white-knuckle moment from the comfort of the Driver’s Media Lounge, featuring a live broadcast of the on-track action.
