Cointreau, Don Fulano Tequila & Mezcal Derrumbes present... the 3rd annual Chi-Town Margarita Showdown! In collaboration with our friends at Bonhomme Group Chicago. Five local bartenders are showing up to show down! Each has crafted an original take on the classic margarita cocktail, incorporating savory elements to challenge the senses. It's up to YOU to decide who will take the title for BEST margarita in the Chi! Competitors will present their margaritas for sampling to be judged via public vote - every guest in attendance will receive complimentary samples and cast a vote for their favorite margarita. Whoever receives the most votes will take home the title! While the margaritas are flowing, you'll be able to enjoy complimentary bites, live music and good vibes! This year's competitors: Beatnik - Misa Torres Untitled - Carlos Duenas Lilac Tiger - Sage Huston Lazy Bird - Mike Abood Empire - Nate Heun Event timeline: 6 - 8:30 - Margs, margs, margs! 8:30 - Votes are tallied... 9pm - Winner is announced! *This is a free, public event.
