Come make a morning of it at Hinckley Spillway—fresh air, movement, snacks, and plenty of low-pressure park fun for the whole family. We’ll gather at the Hinckley Spillway picnic area in Cleveland Metroparks, with grassy space, picnic tables, park bathrooms, ample parking, and room for kids to play. Bring an outdoor activity to share if you’d like. If it’s hot, swimming and creek play are optional; if it’s cooler, we may lean into a dance party or trail walk instead. Around 10:00 AM, anyone who wants to join can take a group walk toward the boathouse for a different view of the lake—about 25 minutes each way. Prefer to stay put? You’re welcome to relax and connect near the picnic area. Come solo, bring the kids, or bring the whole crew. If you want to stretch the adventure beyond our gathering, you can bring or rent a canoe or kayak, swim, or simply linger longer at the park.
