Hey MABLSA Family, The Mid-Atlantic Black Law Student Association (MABLSA) is bringing Black law students from across our region together for an afternoon of good food, music and games, while creating a safe space to build community. Whether you’re a 1L looking to make new friends, or a 3L celebrating making it this far, this cookout is for you. Food is on a first come, first serve basis so be sure to arrive early! If you are using the bus: The U2, V7, and V9 buses service the corner of Pennsylvania Ave. SE and Fairlawn Drive. From that corner, walk west on Fairlawn, turn right onto Nicholson Drive, right on Anacostia Drive, and then straight to the skating pavilion. If you are looking for a ride and you are from the DC/MD area, please email mablsa.dcmd@nbla.org and. If you're in the VA region and looking for a ride, please email mablsa.va@nblsa.org. MABLSA will work hard to pair you with someone you can carpool with, but there are no guarantees. We hope to see you there!
