Queer POC, join us for some fun in the sun on Sunday, July 12th from 1pm-4pm! Play games, connect with other QPOC, and hang out in Providence at Roger Williams Memorial Park!
• What to bring:
Most importantly yourself! And optionally: games, picnic blankets, water, sun protection, comfortable footwear, & snacks! (Please be mindful about accepting food/beverages from folks who you are not familiar with.)
• Games to bring:
‘tabletop’ games that can be played on a picnic blanket. There are tables at the park, but I cannot guarantee that we will be setting up there (there may not be much shade in that area). Board games, card games, charades, Pictionary, lawn games!
• Some games will be provided!
• Sober hang out:
This is a sober hang out. Please do not arrive intoxicated or high; you will be asked to leave. Please do not consume alcohol during the event. No smoking or vaping at the event.
• Who may attend:
This event is exclusively for Queer People of Color who are 18 years of age or older. Mixed & lighter-skinned folks are welcome!
• This is a Neurodivergent, Trans, & Non-binary Inclusive Space
About the Park
• Public restrooms are available at the park during hours of operation (10am - 4pm)
• Transportation:
There is a small parking lot for the park; there are bus stops and the train nearby

• Sensory Accommodations:
We won't be playing very loud music during the event. Please do not wear strong perfume/cologne or other fragrances.

• Be Respectful or you will be asked to leave
• Ask folks their pronouns
While donations & contributions are much appreciated, this event is FREE!
Rain Date:
A notification will be sent out if we get rained out/this event needs to be rescheduled.
