Rock Climbing: For the adventurous, the Holcomb Valley Pinnacles provide excellent climbing opportunities. Stargazing: Witness breathtaking night skies away from city lights. Big Bear Village: Just 30 minutes away if you need a quick trip into town or want to stay at an airbnb. WEATHER: Expect sunny days with highs in the low 80°F range and chilly nights, with lows dropping to the 40°Fs. Bring more layers than you need. This is a high elevation location which can get really cold at night. FIRE RESTRICTIONS: We are in a high-risk burn area so absolutely NO open flames (this includes charcoal grills/BBQs). Please bring e-cigs instead of cigarettes. LOCATION & DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS The Route: Our spot is about a 20 minute drive off the main road, and the road is a climbing hard-packed dirt road. It is not technical, but certain sections require you to approach with caution to avoid ruts. A 4x4 is NOT required, however sedans may want to slow down and arrive during daylight hours. If you need help getting in please message us! WATER: THERE IS NO WATER ON SITE. We suggest 1.5+ gallons per person, per day. BATHROOMS: We are going to be ordering a porta potty for the weekend. Also, there are pit toilets located at Holcomb Valley Campground (5-10 min drive from festival site).
