BIPOC Community: Come In + Connect An afternoon of connection, culture, healing arts + community listening. Saturday, September 26 | 2–4 PM DAWA | 916 Springdale Rd., Bld. 4, Ste. 109 | Austin, TX Something new is growing in Austin. 🌿 The Healing Arts Community is bringing together BIPOC community members, healing arts practitioners, cultural wisdom keepers, creatives, and people simply curious about different pathways to wellness. But we're not here to tell you what you need. We're here to listen. Come spend an afternoon with us as we begin creating a healing community with you—not simply for you. Expect: ✨ Connection + spoken word 🌿 Cultural & ancestral wisdom 🤎 BIPOC healing arts practitioners 🌬️ Breath + a healing modality 💆🏽‍♀️ Chair massage giveaways 🎶 Music, refreshments + good energy You'll have an opportunity to meet some of the BIPOC practitioners helping to shape this community, discover a little of what they offer, and share your voice about what you'd love to see more of in our community. WHAT ARE YOU SEEKING? What wellness practices are you curious about? What's missing from the spaces available to you? What would make you feel welcomed and represented? Your voice will help shape what's next. We'll have our Community Wellness Survey available at the gathering—and everyone who completes the 5–7 minute survey prior and day of will be entered to win a 30-minute chair massage from Roots & Remedy. 🎁 Winner announced at our September 26 gathering! 🤎 COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION $10+ suggested contribution We're intentionally keeping this first gathering accessible, and understand we live in a world where it feels like there's a price point on everything.
