Shut off your screens, mess up some paper, and make something for the pure joy of it. It's ok if it's ugly. That's the whole point. About This Gathering When was the last time you made something with your hands without caring what it looked like? Ugly Collage Drop-In is a low-stakes, self-directed drop-on creative session designed to pull you out of your head, off your screens, and back into tactile play. We're tossing out the aesthetic rules, perfect grids, and algorithm-friendly art. And instead, we're providing a heap of magazines, paper scraps, glue, and scissors, and giving you permission to make a gloriously imperfect mess. This is a lightly facilitated space built around presence, release, and raw creative freedom. Show up, grab some paper scraps, and let your hands take over while the digital noise fades into the background. The Vibe: Casual, self-paced, low pressure. Drop in for 30 minutes or stay for the full two hours. What You'll Make: A one-of-a-kind, take-home paper collage that serves as a physical reminder to stop performing and start playing. Who's It For: Anyone suffering from screen fatigue, burnout, or the pressure to be productive. Absolutely no previous art experience needed.
