Multi-School Dog & Kid-Friendly Hike at Pulgas Ridge + Coffee

Join Duke, MIT & Wellesley Alumnae for a fun and easy community hike at Pulgas Ridge in Redwood City! Bring the kids, bring the dogs, and enjoy some fresh air and good company. Pulgas Ridge is included in my book Dog Hiking Northern California. We’ll be hiking the paved Hassler Trail, a wide route that’s perfect for families, strollers, and pups of all sizes. Part of the trail is off-leash for dogs. At the top, you’ll enjoy rolling open-space views. Event details: When: Sunday, July 19 2026 | 9:30 AM - 12:00PM Distance: 2 miles Elevation Gain: 400 feet Est. The trail is stroller-friendly!
