Come learn Dungeons and Dragons (5th edition) with other queers and femmes (all girls, gays and theys welcome)! Too often DnD comes off as an intimidating tabletop game for the mathematically inclined. But DnD is a collaborative storytelling game perfect for creatives, ex-theater kids, and simply playing pretend in a magical world of your making (with a few dice rolls).
Join us (seasoned femme players/DMs) as we help you make and play a fantasy character (handouts provided) using the DND 5e system in a flexible and approachable way. We'll cover basic game mechanics and how to determine your favored play style (e.g. battle-centric, immersive roleplay). A free one shot module by Pointy Hat will also be provided and DMing basics covered for interested attendees. Bringing a laptop or smartphone is helpful but not necessary.
Please note that a give-what-you-can donation is highly encouraged to attend. Ideas for your donation will be shared at the event, but to get you started:
