hi friends. I am hosting my first art show, “the unraveling: collage stories of deconstructing history” on saturday, july 18th from 5-8 pm. this show has been a year in the making and I can’t wait to finally share this project with everyone I love. i’ve spent so many hours of processing current world events, our history, and how art can shape what type of community we want to build for future generations. it’s been a year sourcing magazines and books that outline politics, environmental issues, social movements, and race in the US. there will be art displayed, prints to purchase, beverages to drink, appetizers to consume, and really lovely people to meet! feel free to drop by for a few minutes or stay a while and meet new friends. this is an opportunity for friends and strangers to come together to have discussions on how we can support each other and show up for our communities. feel free to bring folks! open invite. :) can’t wait to share with you all and see so many people who have inspired me in this journey.
