Drag is art and art is subjective. You don’t have to keep up with Miss Ru’s Race or your favorite local Queens and Kings’ looks, but you do need to turn SOMETHING. That might be in a different gender, but it might also be exploring a new character or facet of yourself. Use this as an opportunity to try something new or challenge your comfort zone. Also trans people can do whatever they want. We're just happy you’re here. <3 Tips for a successful night: Revamp an old halloween costume and add a new accessory or additional makeup. Wear something from your closet you never get the opportunity to wear. Don’t focus too hard on a gender transformation (unless that’s already feeling super fun), just think about a fresh persona or character, even if it’s just an elevated version of yourself.
