some of you may have seen our one act show, “First Date Blues,” last spring. It followed the story of Sabina and JJ, a pair who match on Bumble and meet for a drink. When the check comes, they split it, then go home to their roommates. What follows is a candid discussion on modern dating (“splitting the check is the Brooklyn answer,” posits roommate Emma, “But it’s not the biological answer.”)
But people wanted to know what happened next - especially when the roommates, Emma and Murph, go out!! So we made a second act, to take you on a second date. This time, we’re exploring what happens when a different cardinal rule of dating is broken 👀 👀 because sometimes, even when you’ve only known each other a few hours, the wine can take you to some very sensual places!!
Do come! We have 2 matinees this spring, 3/28 at 2 pm, and 4/4, also 2 pm. Both will be at Brooklyn Art Haus in Williamsburg (24 Marcy Ave).
