Somatic Sunday is a slow, intentional reset—designed to help you close the weekend feeling nourished to step into the week ahead grounded and clear.
3–4:30 PM | Warrior Wellness: Marma Therapy with Katie Grossman
We begin by tending the nervous system directly utilizing the Marma Method to deepen our self-care practices.
Marma is a trauma-informed healing technique rooted in ancient India, originally used by warriors to strengthen and rewire the nervous system. Through gentle stimulation of specific acupressure points on ourselves and others, we support nervous system adaptability, neuroplasticity, and the release of physical, emotional, and mental holding patterns.
This session is subtle, powerful, and deeply regulating—creating a foundation of safety and presence in the body.
4:30-5:30 PM | Integrated Movement + Sound with Whitney Lynn & Ty Rex
Based in fundamentals of contact improvisation and breathwork, we will enjoy a guided meditation through movement, light partner work and inner-listening practices to the live piano of artist, Ty Rex.
Together, we'll take time to listen to the body's innate ability to release tension and explore trust, translating the self-care practices from Katie's session into somatic awareness through guided touch, light weight-sharing and sound exploration. No dance experience necessary.
*Afterward* stay to enjoy a feel-good movie to wrap the weekend & relax into the week.
