Bookbinding at Bayside: Custom Notebooks
Come learn bookbinding at Bayside! In this workshop we will teach you how to make a 50 page lay-flat notebook from start to finish. You’ll learn about:
• Essential bookbinding tools & techniques
• Paper types & patterns (you’ll customize your notebook by choosing from a variety of styles)
• Hardcover necessities & how to make a custom stitched cover of your own (we’ll teach you hand embroidery here, too!)
• Final polishing & processing for creating a clean, sleek book that’ll last you years
All supplies will be provided & no experience is necessary. The $75 workshop fee will cover 2.5 hours of instruction and all materials. You’ll leave with a custom notebook or journal & the skills necessary to create more of them in the future!
