Produce Party #8: Peas

This season let’s party with peas. A sneakily versatile spring vegetable to be used in pastas, flatbreads, sauces, dips, soups and more. We're partnering once again with the Farm to People team to host in their Kitchen & Bar in Bushwick, Brooklyn. They'll be providing 50% off your first farm box (including peas of course) and FREE peas if you're already a member. The promo code will be emailed to you closer to the event after you have RSVPd and paid. Tickets to attend will be $20, and the Farm to People bar will be stocked with all your favorite natural wines, local beers, and bevvies for purchase. We'll also have gift bags provided by @davinesnorthamerica, a sustainable haircare brand ($70+ value), some swag from @wearyoursnacks, and other surprise goodies. As always there is only one rule. The dish must incorporate peas in some way. Fill out the recipe at the link above when you decide what to make. 25% of all proceeds will go to Edible Schoolyard NYC, whose mission is to support edible education for every child in New York City. We also have some fun new party add-ons. Join us Soil Sounds, a groovy patio dance party from 10pm to late with music from DJ Bridge (@iambridgeet).
