Sound in Color is an immersive hyper-local event series that celebrates authentic human connection and strengthens community by using art, culture and advocacy to uplift creatives and elevate the culture of live entertainment. With eclectic artists & DJs, immersive art installations and curated learning experiences, Sound In Colour is a feast for the senses and food for the soul.
Our Juneteenth activation is a celebration of the innovation strength and resilience of communities of color. Our first activation of the summer will feature an art and activism workshop curated by @theheartdept and a community wellness room curated by @thebloomwell.co. We'll have @jayson.aaron as our sound selector for the evening and will have performances by @artistshelleybruce, @adrian_d_watkins and @dawn.koyote.
Our venue partner is Sip & Sonder, a Coffee Roastery & Coffee House where coffee, community, and culture truly connect. Their Inglewood location has an adjoining production studio and event space which we will be occupying for the duration of the event.
This event will be free to the public so bring a friend! We will close RSVPs once we reach capacity!
Last but not least..the color is ORANGE so please dress accordingly!
