THE FUTURE OF THINK TANKS HACKATHON
Recent developments in artificial intelligence suggest that much of the day-to-day operations of think tanks may about to be substantially transformed and accelerated through technology. This hackathon aims to push the envelope and see what might be around the corner.
We're bringing together a group of tech-proficient think tankers that have been experimenting (or at least vibe coding) with using LLMs in their own work for a day of collaboration and prototyping. We're interested in projects that explore things like:
* AIs for bill, regulation, voting, and news tracking
* Research report, data visualization, and analysis generation
* Policy "copilot" features that provide in-line assistance to the tasks that think tanks engage in every day
* Developing structured evaluations to test new commercial models for their proficiency against policy analysis tasks
We'll form teams in the beginning of the day and then do demos at the end of the day. It's going to be awesome.
