LISTEN Documentary (Seattle Screening at Tasveer Film Center)
Join us for a community screening of LISTEN, which recently won Best Short Documentary at the 2026 Tribeca Festival!
LISTEN follows Alaskan author and sound recordist Hank Lentfer as he records the fading sounds of the wild and cares for his mother in the final stages of dementia. It is an immersive and sensory film about our relationship with the more-than-human world.
The film is 15 minutes long. After the screening, director Taliesin Black-Brown and subject Hank Lentfer will do a Q&A moderated by producer Greg Moga about the meaning and making of the film.
The screening is free. There is limited seating so you must RSVP to attend. Bring guests!
**note that this theatre is on the second floor of a historic theatre with no elevator. Not wheelchair accessible.
