HRTuesday is a community led fundraising event for trans people, by trans people. We aim to create a safe, welcoming, and SICKENINGLY fun event for our trans siblings with the goal of raising community funds for trans performers and political causes on the last Tuesday of every month. This months HRTuesday we will be raising funds for Immigrant Defense Project, using their words — “We highlight the systemic injustices underlying the deportation system, counter the demonization of immigrants and people with criminal convictions, and work to change the conversation by exposing the human toll of unjust policies.” They assist immigrants in legal action, and do a lot of really really great work for communities. We’re excited to work together in raising funds for a good cause and combating the abhorrent treatment of our neighbors and loved ones. Lineup and games (with respective rules) will be posted soon so follow and stay tuned!
