join us at GrowHouse for an intimate evening of art, community, and reflection. through this collaborative art show, we offer another way to see your inner life, one that values its complexity & contradictions. the 2020 COVID pandemic opened us up. cut off from the world, we turned inward and found emotions that were layered, contradictory, and often unresolved. then we were told to simplify, to quickly process and move on. the systems we reached for couldn't hold the complexity we found internally. mixed emotions takes us back 6 years. it gathers the mixed states we lived through and treats them as knowledge, not symptoms, a chance to understand together how we were opened up, and to value what it gave us as a human race. featuring work by miela foster, unique hodge, and caitlin jones, this is a space to sit with the richness of our emotional lives. in lieu of a ticket, consider a donation to the space ($5–$20). light refreshments will be provided. @fosterthestudio | @_homesown_ | @caitlinstudioart
