*◟*My new game Tatsumi has finally released! I'm hosting a launch party where you can come check the game out, learn to play, and have two chances to win your own copy:
1. Everyone who RSVPs and attends will be entered to win a Retail Edition copy of Tatsumi.
2. There will be a small two-stage tournament, with the winner receiving a Limited Edition copy of Tatsumi with premium components.
TIME 🕰️
Come by anytime after 6pm. If you'd like to join the tournament, please try to arrive early-ish so we can start that by 7 at the latest.
ENTRY FEE 💰
The Outpost has a $7 entry fee, which covers the whole evening and gives you access to their entire game library, not just Tatsumi!
TOURNAMENT DETAILS 🏆
The tournament will have two rounds: a qualifier game to reach the finals, followed by the final game played by the winners of the first round. Each game should take 30min to 1hr, depending on player count.
*To keep things fair, the tournament is limited to players with no prior experience with the game.
NOT INTERESTED IN COMPETING? 🤝
No problem! I should have enough copies so everyone who wants to play will get a chance, whether they're in the tournament or not. The tournament is simply an optional way to try the game more competitively and win a prize.
OKAY, BUT WHAT THE HECK IS TATSUMI?! 🐉
Simply put, Tatsumi is a light strategy game where you play as a sea dragon, collecting rings from a 3-dimensional board and visiting shrines to transfer them to your home island. You score points for the rings you place, the patterns you build with them, and for activating animal spirit powers at key moments. The player with the most points wins!
