LunaR&Beach 🌙🏖️ Global sound + Asian diaspora Round 3 on the beach and we're riding straight off the energy from KhmeR&Beach. Come back out for another sunset session, this time centering global sound and the Asian R&B diaspora: think R&B twisted through reggaeton, afrobeats, and everything Asian artists are doing with the genre right now. When: Sat. Aug 8th, 5pm, set-up starts at 2:30pm Where: Alki, across from Natalie's *Carpool, scooter, Water Taxi, Uber/Lyft highly recommended* Hosted by Teck Savvy, with DJs from Sea Vinyl Society on the ones and twos, and performances from MC Carter$ and Monika. Rida Bikinis shop will be out vending too. Go say hi. Bring a dish for the potluck, we've got the bonfire going, and as always: drama-free space only. 🚫 $10 suggested contribution goes straight to covering event costs and paying our artists.
