This Full moon is extra potent because it’s a Lunar Eclipse. Expect to see the moon a little red. It’s also called the “worm moon” because this is the season worms start waking up and moving through the soil again. A sign that spring is coming. Other cultural names include Sugar Moon, Crow Moon, Wind Strong Moon, and Sap Moon, each tied to springtime shifts. Symbolically, this Moon carries themes of thawing, renewal, and early growth — the ground softening enough for life to stir!! The Zodiac for this Full moon lies in Virgo while the sun is in Pisces. This axis creates a unique energetic combo. Virgo themes include practicality, organizational clarity, health, service, and discernment, while Pisces brings intuition, emotion, spirituality, and imagination. A Virgo Full Moon often invites grounding, sorting through details, and integrating inner knowing with outer reality. I’ve been hosting women’s circles for over a decade, here in Austin and previously in Brooklyn. I first discovered circle at the original Wild Woman Fest in Massachusetts and later completed circle training with Chris Maddox of The Wild Woman Project. Since then, I’ve been hosting intimate, heart-centered circles rooted in presence, listening, and connection. As our world becomes increasingly digital, I feel called to offer these circles regularly. I’m hosting at Casa de Luz (Toomey Road location). This circle is not affiliated with any organization. We are simply renting space directly from Casa de Luz. If you’d like to contribute even when you can’t attend, donations are welcome. What I ask of you: • Arrive on time (6:30 pm, or 5–10 minutes early) • Bring a journal • Hold respectful space for one another • Most importantly, show up for yourself Attire: Cozy and comfortable. We’ll include a few gentle stretches and yin-style poses to help us ground. I can’t wait to gather with you. xo, Sammy Midler
