π'Nice to Meet You!'π
Looking for an excuse to get out of the house this Friday? Come join us for Nice to Meet You, our social speed-friending event hosted by my partner and me at Handlebar.
The idea is simple: we make it easy for adults to meet other adults in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Whether you're new to St. Louis, trying to expand your social circle, or just looking for something different to do on a Friday night, we'd love to have you!
ποΈ When: Friday, June 5th
β° Time: 6 - 8pm
π Where: Handlebar - 4127 Manchester Ave, St. Louis, MO 63110
What to expect:
π Free pizza.
π₯ Arrive by 6:30pm for a free welcome shot! We do a headcount at 6:30 so the bar knows how many shots to prepare (they choose the flavor). Soon after we'll do a quick group toast to new friends and a fun night ahead! Non-alcoholic options are available too.
π₯ Small groups of 4 - 6 people per table.
π We rotate the groups every 30 minutes so you can meet a variety of people throughout the night.
π¬ Conversation prompts are available at each table if you need them.
A few quick notes:

π Inclusive and welcoming to all identities.
π€ This is a friend-making event, not a dating event.
Most people come by themselves, so don't worry if you don't know anyone. We'll get you settled into a group and take it from there.
We keep attendance around 35 people so conversations stay comfortable and everyone gets a chance to connect. Arriving a little early is always a good idea.
And if you're having a good time when we wrap up at 8, feel free to stick around. A lot of people hang out afterward and keep the conversations going even after the event ends!
