Movie Night: Showgirls
After years of archiving nails caught on film, its time to share and show it off. We will cover it all, from the glammed out to the grotesque. Think The Fly, Frankenhooker, Casino, The Doom Generation. Long nails, dirty nails, press-ons, chipped polish, bloody.
First up: Showgirls 1995
A high-camp cult classic full of ambition, chaos, lesbian tension and Special Agent Dale Coopers alter ego. With a very "in your face" nail feature, Nomi designs the best 90s dancer nails we all wish we could have. Dress-code is anywhere from: rhinestones, pleather, leopard print, colorful tights, lacey bras, red lipstick, platform heels to satin anything. Commit to the fantasy and be your own showgirl, gambler, bouncer, or even horny guest! An award for best dressed on-theme will win a one-of-a-kind set of press-ons x ALT, inspired by the film.
There will be a Nail Cam, where I’ll be documenting all the looks guests bring — so come nailed and ready ;) We will be serving free popcorn and the bar will be available for purchasing beer.
