Bad Movie Night Brooklyn is back at Lucky 13 Saloon, and we'll be celebrating the hot new Marvel movie release with a Marvel movie of our own! Thats right, forget Spider-Man! Forget The Avengers! The year is 1986, and there's only one name on every comic book fan's tongues that summer... Howard the Duck! Famously the movie that George Lucas left Lucasarts to produce, this was Marvel's first foray onto the big screen, and it did VERY little to convince critics that Marvel had any place in the world of movies! Plot: It was another bland day for Duckworld resident Howard. That was, until a laser beam smashes through his apartment, and yanks him into space! Now stranded on an alien planet called Earth, Howard has to team up with rockstar Beverly Switzler (Lea Thompson), and scientist Phil Blumburtt (Tim Robbins) to find a way to get back to his home. Meanwhile... it looks like Howard isn't the only thing the laser plucked out of deep space. Jeez... whats a duck gotta do to get a ride home? Come for the hijinx, come for the romance, come for the... Quack-Fu? Doors at 7:30, Movie at 8.
