kirtan: devotional Indian call-and-response chanting that can create ecstatic and mystical shared states rave: a dance-based gathering around electronic music that dissolves the self into collective trance what will happen when we combine them?! I am a singer with a background in Indian music. I will lead us through a group singing / chanting practice which will start slow, build in energy and culminate in a dance party. note: this event is not tied to any one faith. bring your own deity, literally or figuratively
