SoulPhil is a pop-up concept that is heart crafted by Chef Tiana Gee, a Filipina and Black Los Angeles native. SoulPhil is Chef Tee's way of celebrating her heritage through Filipino and soul food fusion. Chef Tee has been cooking since 10 years old, and took on her first restaurant job at Redbird in DTLA at the age of 17. She gained experience through her endeavors at Rebuplique, Hearth and Hound, and Tartine and later moved to NYC to become sous chef at Red Rooster’s Harlem flagship restaurant. Chef Gee has since been featured on Food Network’s competitions and is the star of Cookin’ with Tee on YouTube.
