I'm throwing myself a birthday party!! Which is also a release show! Which is also a fundraiser!!
First of all, I grew up as a Jehovah's Witness, so this is the first time I've ever thrown a bday party for myself. I spend every year treating my birthday like it's a regularass day, doing all my "same things" (which I actually do enjoy). But this year IT GOING TO BE DIFFERENT.
Did I mention it's a release show? And the first time I've played with a band since my voice changed from taking T last year?? so yeah kINDA A BIG DEAL FOR ME. Doors are open at 7pm, and I go on at 8pm so I reallllly hope you come in time to see me play <3
After my set, DJ Stargrl will take over with downtempo funky vibes! We will be rocking and rolling at the Salon on Kingston (105 Kingston Ave) til 11pm.
Yes, there will be free Dank Dykes goodies there.
No, this is not an open invite event.
Yes, the event is totally free.
