He is also a member of the band Gone Gone Beyond, has appeared on NPR’s Tiny Desk, and works as a producer and multi-instrumentalist. MARTA CASCALES Born in Barcelona, Spain, is a composer, producer, performer. A Grammy Awards voting member and Deutsche Grammophon artist who collaborates with choreographers and filmmakers, and is the creator of her signature Piano Bath experience. They met in Barcelona, drawn together by their love of music. Their collaboration evolved into the first sparks of romance and eventually into a fully formed relationship. They married five years later. The ups and downs of learning how to combine their lives and cultures led them through many challenging moments. These challenges only strengthened their commitment and deepened their love in meaningful ways. That’s where MARMELI was born — a merging of two worlds, two names, two lives becoming one.
