​Time to get outside and make something ​Let's enjoy summer the right way: outside, with art supplies, good people, and no agenda. ​This is your excuse to ditch your screens, slow down, and find time to be creative. This is not about being good at art. This is about finding time to make something, enjoying nature, and community. Bring a friend or make a new one! ​We Bring: ​🌳 A picnic setup in the park ​Blankets, fresh air, a cute playlist (if you don’t like the music, blame it on Spotify) ​🎨 Communal Art supplies ​Everything you need to get started - paper, pencils, pastels, watercolors, and more ​You Bring: ​✨Yourself ​All levels are welcome, from beginners to professionals ​☀️ Weather Gear ​Please bring sunscreen, coats, or whatever else Mother Nature is demanding of us ​🥤 Snacks + drinks ​Bring anything you want to nibble on or sip ​🖼️ Your own project if you have one ​If you’re working on something, please bring it! This beats making something alone in a dark room ​The Logistics ​How to Find Us ​Don’t want to walk up sheepishly to the wrong picnic blanket? The morning of the event, we'll send all attendees a message with our exact location within the park. Look for the blankets, the art supplies, and the people who look very happy to be outside. ​Weather ​This is an outdoor event, so we're at the mercy of the NYC sky. If the weather is looking rough, we'll make a call by the night before and notify all attendees via email.
