Come join Flowtopia at the 2026 NYC PRIDE March! 🏳️‍🌈 Dancers, jugglers, flow artists, clowns, all are welcome to dance with us this! The first PRIDE March occurred on June 27, 1970 as an act of resistance. This year is the 57th annual Pride March on Sunday, June 28th! Want to be added to our Instagram group chat? Date: Sunday, June 28th is the PRIDE March! Lineup Area: M5 Please note, your Order Number within the section is TBD and will be released with the final version of the March Order which will be sent out in approximately 2 weeks. Formation Entrance:W27 between 6th and 5th Please approach from 6th ave **STEP TWO - WHAT TO BRING** 🚨 Pack light. Pack smart. You MUST carry your things with you! I recommend a small sling bag, fanny pack, etc. 🌟 your props! Ensure all props are in working order before the event. We cannot do repairs on site. 🌟 water - there are refilling stations at the formation area 🌟 sunglasses if you need them 🌟 shoes you feel comfortable walking in for an extended period of time 🌟 ID and card/cash if you intend to go out afterwards! Expect there to be many afterparties and events to choose from! 🤩 SLIDING SCALE DONATION: This year a sliding scale donation fee of $10 - $25 is requested. The group marching fee was covered out of pocket by Pippin and anything offsets this directly. NOTAFLOF, please reach out if you cannot afford to donate. Venmo: @pippinperformanceart - memo as "Parade Donation" A group leader is in charge of divvying out wristbands on the day of the March. You cannot march without a wristband. You must RSVP in order to ensure we have enough wristbands available. **MARCH ROUTE** The March begins at 26th Street and 5th Avenue in Manhattan, passes the historic Stonewall Inn, and disperses near 15th Street and 7th Avenue. Our staging area is TBA. Please check back here for details. You must be able to traverse this distance! Restrooms are available in the formation area. (There are occasional short breaks during the route to accommodate pedestrian thru traffic, but we will still be standing / dancing.) **COSTUMING:** Rainbow! Show your PRIDE! Pick a color or colors from the 2018 Philadelphia Pride Flag and show us what you got. Please do not show up in costumes that are suitable for warmer weather; this event is HOT and we are marching a long time. Please declare by June 22nd at the latest for our wristband count. We would like to stay around 50 people in attendance this year. **We are seeking a volunteer or volunteer(s) who would be willing to pull small handcart(s) filled with water bottles, speaker, etc. We are also seeking volunteer photographers and videographers.
