At Can I Get a Witness? open mic—after each poem we talk about it. We show love to the poet, highlight shared experiences, and whatever else may come to mind. We just have a few rules: 🚫 no Advice 🚫 no Scores 🚫 no Critiques This month we’re partnering with Gold Beams to bring the Can I Get a Witness? (CIGAW) experience to Soul Flow Sundays. Soul Flow Sundays is a bi-monthly open mic for raw expression, poetry, and storytelling brought to you by Black femmes 💐 What To Expect: Location: Kinfolx coffee shop + wine bar Time: 4pm Format: same deliciousness. after each poem, we’ll talk about it. At the event we have ‘Ways We Witness’ and Optional Speaking Prompts that keep the container safe for both the performers and the audience.
