Showcasing her operatic background through a pop lens, Uhl creates dynamic music informed as much by Mozart and Puccini as by art pop icons Kate Bush and Annie Lennox. She also builds and directs her own music videos, crafting surreal worlds that deepen the atmosphere of her songs. The result is enigmatic, dramatic, and transportive, appealing to fans of contemporaries like Weyes Blood, Perfume Genius, and Cate Le Bon.
