The event is now partially ticketed with a few menu changes (see below) and has been extended to 3 pm. * Come celebrate one of the luckiest days of the year (also Taiwanese Father's Day, or "Ba Ba Day") with a Taiwan-ish brunch party at Konbini in SF! On Saturday, August 8th from 11a-3p, Konbini and Yun Hai are throwing a block party featuring dishes and desserts by Konbini, Lil Devil Noodles, Lunar Bakery, and Mt. Kakigori. Food will include Yun Hai ingredients like preserved radish, Taiwanese fruit jams, and stone-ground sesame pastes. There'll also be drinks by KACE (no booze like in the flyer, but plenty of tea to go around). Some menu highlights: -Fantuan with preserved radish and 13-spice braised pork, by Konbini -Handmade Sesame Dan Dan Noodles, by Lil Devil Noodle Co. -Black Sesame Kouign Amann with mulberry jam, by Lunar Bakery SF -Peanut "Mi Jiang" Kakigori with peanut syrup, grass jelly, and black sesame cream, by Mt. Kakigori -Apple Jasmine Green Tea, by KACE Our co-owner Lillian will also be sampling Yun Hai condiments and pantry ingredients, many of which are regularly stocked and available Konbini.
