Gay Guy Friday is a party drawing inspiration from the gay cultural practices of “music video night,” where gay men and their community gather to watch, critique, and share music knowledge on their favorite pop starts across generations. As an exercise in LGBT+ community building, Gay Guy Friday seeks to strengthen community ties through both music videos as well as DJing. This is not an event exclusively for cis gay men — girls, theys, and people with “gay guy energy” are definitely welcome and encouraged to attend.
