Curated by London-born, NYC-based artist Dez Amakye & NYC-born and raised Charles Fields, this exhibition gathers the vision of DMV artists whose lenses capture the region’s magnetic pulse. From its soulful music and deep-rooted culture to its ever-evolving creative spirit.

For both, The DMV has long been a muse, an area whose sound and energy have shaped their imagination from afar. Through this exhibition, we invite audiences to experience the many textures of  The DMV as seen through the eyes of artists who live, breathe, and love the city.

Equal parts homage and dialogue, Love Letters to The DMV is an immersive exploration of place, rhythm, and belonging, a visual mixtape celebrating the heartbeat of the area.
