Join us at our upcoming Film Neighbor Network(ing) event on Thursday, November 20th from 5:30pm-8pm at Avenir Cine! This event is FREE to attend.
Meet fellow filmmakers and explore different creative opportunities in our local community. Connect with organizations including Squeaky Wheel Film & Media Art Center and Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology (BCAT), and companies including Expressway Cinema Rentals, Casting Buffalo, and Get Fokus’d Productions.
Watch the film "Connie | The Powers and Possibilities of Community Engagement", a documentary that follows the life of Buffalo-based activist Constance "Connie" Bowles Eve, Founder of Women for Human Rights and Dignity. Stick around after the film for a panel discussion with the WNY based filmmakers, including the film's director, Dorothea Braemer.
Networking begins at 5:30pm and the documentary screening begins at 6:30pm. We hope to see you there!
