Fremont High Tea Society (Pride Edition)

Because high tea should be accessible to us all! You are cordially invited to the Fremont High Tea Society — a free, recurring (every other week) Sunday afternoon picnic in the Woodland Park Rose Garden where anyone and everyone is welcome to sip, snack, and be a little fancy with their neighbors. This time, we're summoning the queers (and allies, of course)!! Get out here and touch grass with us! Let's make this one extra colorful! Bring to share: A beverage (tea, lemonade, elderflower cordial, whatever delights you) and/or a high tea snack (finger sandwiches, scones, petit fours, your grandma's shortbread). Bonus points for pride themed treats! Bring for yourself: Your own teacup. A blanket or low chair. Your finest self, or just your regular self. Both are correct. Dress: Hats, gloves, fascinators, capes, and full Edwardian regalia are deeply encouraged but absolutely never required. Come as you are. Drag is highly encouraged for this one! This is a leave no trace event. Pack it in, pack it out. The roses were here first. Don't disgrace humans in front of the zoo animals! 🌹 This is a recurring (every other week) Sunday gathering all summer. Bring friends, bring strangers, bring your dog in a bow tie.
