It’s super fine, yo… because you’re invited (and now on Partiful!) to the 6th Annual METRO GALA:
SUPERLINE! Tailoring Subway Style
Monday, May 12th
5–9PM | Union Square South Plaza
9PM till we drop | Subway Ride!

Join us in Union Square as we gather on the plaza, show off our SUPERLINE swagger, get swarmed by the paparazzi, enjoy food and drinks and dance with the Subway stars.
Then descend into the depths of NYC’s underground magic. After 9PM, we’ll be hopping aboard select lines for a roving, mobile red carpet Very Important Passenger experience.
This year, we’re riffing on the 2025 Met Gala theme: “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” — a celebration of Black dandyism and the powerful legacy of self-expression through tailor-made fashion. Their dress code is: "Tailored For You" ours is "Tailored For the NQR/BDFM.”
The Metro Gala honors and expands that energy — not in the museum, but in the MTA.
The turnstiles, platforms and subway cars have long been runways for boldness. New Yorkers’ style is constantly evolving, so we want to feature YOU and your unique style.
And as they phase out the iconic MetroCard and redraw the map we all memorized by heart, we have feelings.
This is a love letter to what’s fleeting, what’s forever, and what’s fabulous beneath the surface.
At SUPERLINE, we elevate the everyday icons. We’re more glam emerging from the L than a limousine. We honor the line-iage — and ride it forward.
