A transformational evening of embodied play and self-discovery Who are you when you put on a mask? Who are you when it comes off? Join Wowza—renowned pioneer of expressive arts and transformation—for an immersive workshop exploring the relationship between power, identity, and the roles we inhabit. In this guided laboratory, masks become tools for awareness, self-inquiry, and creative play. What you’ll experience: • Mask Rituals & Role Play: Choose, create, or receive a mask. Explore how your posture, voice, and energy shift with each new role. Notice which masks empower, protect, or constrain you—and which invite new freedom. • Power Dynamics in Practice: Through group and partner exercises, safely investigate what it feels like to hold, yield, or share power. Discover where your boundaries are, how you express them, and how you relate to others doing the same. • Nonverbal Awareness: Deepen your sensitivity to the subtle cues—eye contact, movement, silence—that communicate power and vulnerability beneath words. • Reflection & Integration: The evening closes in circle, weaving together insights, stories, and new intentions to bring the “alchemy of power” into your daily life. Who is this for? • Anyone curious about power, presence, and the art of conscious role play. • Seekers, facilitators, artists, leaders, and anyone ready to loosen the grip of habitual roles. • No prior mask, theater, or movement experience required—just curiosity and willingness. What to bring: Comfortable clothes for movement, water, and (optional) a mask or object that represents a personal role, archetype, or aspect of your power. About your guide: Wowza is a living legend in the world of expressive arts and somatic transformation, known for her playful wisdom, fierce presence, and deep devotion to human freedom.
