Come see art you'd feel comfortable living with β critically acclaimed, and selling out.
Not a general fair tour. My picks β the artists I'd actually tell my clients to watch, with coffee and pastries.
I'm Prisca, and I run Unfram_d, a San Francisco-based art advisory practice with clients globally for collectors who understand that the most enduring assets are rarely the most obvious ones. Tours like this are usually reserved for clients but this time, I'm opening a few spots to the public.
The Armory Show brings 230+ galleries to the Javits Center. Most people wander it alone, guessing at what's actually worth stopping for.
I'm doing it differently β a small-group morning at the fair, starting with coffee and pastries at the concessions, then a guided walk to the booths and artists I think are the real standouts of this edition. Not the whole fair β just the work worth your time, with context on why it's rising and who's watching it.
The morning:
β 10:30β11:00am β Coffee & pastries, meet at concessions
πΌοΈ 11:00amβ12:00pm β Guided tour of standout artists from the fair, Q&A along the way
10 spots only β small enough to actually talk, ask questions, and get real answers instead of fair-floor small talk.
Note: This ticket ($100) covers the guided tour experience only. You'll need your own Armory Show admission to enter the fair β get your ticket here β https://thearmoryshow.seetickets.com/event/the-armory-show/jacob-k-javits-convention-center/3639765
