My picks — the artists I'd actually tell my clients to watch, with coffee and pastries. I'm Prisca, and I run Unfram_d, a San Francisco-based art advisory practice with clients globally for collectors who understand that the most enduring assets are rarely the most obvious ones. Tours like this are usually reserved for clients but this time, I'm opening a few spots to the public. The Armory Show brings 230+ galleries to the Javits Center. Most people wander it alone, guessing at what's actually worth stopping for. I'm doing it differently — a small-group morning at the fair, starting with coffee and pastries at the concessions, then a guided walk to the booths and artists I think are the real standouts of this edition.
