The title is a reference to those eat an apple/banana with me events, please don’t eat me! 😰 We will not actually be eating wasians, sorry to disappoint. Summer is over and I refuse to let this group go dormant just because the weather developed an attitude. 🍂 You’ll need a jacket this time, but at least it gives you something to take off dramatically without going shirtless ✨ 𝗪𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗱, but the trees are doing their annual color thing, so anything you photograph out on the grass is going to look like an album cover you didn't earn. Bring a blanket 🧺 and take advantage of that. And an umbrella ☂️ in case. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗸! To help make sure I stay off the menu, bring food! Bring something that feels culturally connected to you. 🍜🍚 Buying it from H Mart counts, I’m not the food police. We also have a grill! ♨️ Also, make sure to bring water and plates/utensils too! 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴! 🎶 There's no signup sheet, only courage. Laufey and Wasia Project are going to happen whether you like it or not. If you know 60% of a song, that qualifies as a complete performance here. Bring your instruments! 🎸🎻 Also, where were you violinists? We need you for the solo sections in From the Start and Lovesick! 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 • Bluemont Park Picnic Pavilion (this time I put the right spot on the location marker 🥳) 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮 (𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗻𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲): • "what’s your mix" (×100, affectionately) • fall picnic era 🍁 • someone says “the leaves look so beautiful”, and then I think to myself “why does no one ever say that I look beautiful?” 😭🥀 • one group photo where everyone’s eyes are open 👀 • jam session 🎤 • games (volleyball, frisbee, mahjong, and that thing with the ball connected to the string and then you have to flip it and have it land on the other side of the wood holder. You know what I’m talking about right?) 🏐 𝗛𝗥 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 • everyone is welcome, you do NOT have to be mixed to come! 🤗 • please refrain from promoting your political causes/advocacy unrelated to this event.
