Hudson Valley Regenerative Housing (HV/RH) is an emerging community of practice bringing together people reimagining how we live together—from housing advocates and ecological builders to community organizers, land stewards, and those exploring cooperative models of ownership and neighborhood life.
Coming off of our stimulating Spring picnic on the topic of agrihoods, we're excited to invite you to our August meetup, focused around themes of cohousing and adaptive reuse.
We'll gather to share stories, lessons learned, and practical questions for those actively creating more collaborative ways of living—exploring shared ownership pathways, group formation and decision-making. Whether you're already involved in a project, curious about starting one, or interesting in supporting more neighborly ways of relying on one another, you'll find kindred spirits gathering.
Agenda
6 - 6:30 Gather + introductions
6:30–8:00 Breakout conversations and share-back
Together we'll:
- Make interdisciplinary connections with others shaping the future of housing in the Hudson Valley
- Exchange experiences, resources, and lessons from shared ownership and adaptive reuse
- Surface opportunities for collaboration and identify the connective tissue needed to help more projects take root
If you've been working to realize collective visions around cohousing, cooperative ownership, or ecological building—or drawn generally to more connected, resilient ways of dwelling—we'd love to have you join us. Wherever you're starting from, you have something valuable to contribute.
Let's get acquainted, get inspired, and continue weaving the relationships that make new housing futures possible.
