Topless Picnic

🌸Join me and our community in a top-optional picnic to help normalize breasts in public! 🌸 Breasts give life, feed our young, and are a natural part of us to be embraced and celebrated. In this world full of beauty we should not have to feel like our breasts are illegal or wrong.. so let’s not! Breasts have a place under the sun just as much as the ocean, the hills, and the birds. 🌞🕊️ What to expect: 🌿A joyful gathering to celebrate life, beauty, and body freedom. Come socialize with like-minded individuals, share snacks, play games, enjoy the sun, and be yourself! 🎸Flat Sun Society will be playing a set around 1:30pm People of all ages and genders are greatly welcomed and encouraged! Participation is about choice and comfort. Whether you choose to be topless or fully clothed, your presence supports the cause of body equality and the right to topfreedom for all individuals. 🦜 🌴What: Top Optional Picnic for all genders/ages 🌊Where: West Cliff Lighthouse Lawn 🌞When: June 21st (solstice weekend!) 🪁What to bring (optional): snacks to share, kites, games, bubbles, blankets, instruments, etc. Legality: This is fully legal! We are gathering to call attention to the unequal enforcement of public nudity laws and social norms based on gender presentation. Topfreedom is legal in California—and yes, that includes the West Cliff Lighthouse Lawn. There is no law against non-sexual toplessness in public parks in Santa Cruz. This sit-in is a peaceful, lawful protest protected by the First Amendment. Show up how you feel comfortable—topless or not, your body is not a crime. Know for your own safety that there are still counties and areas within California and Santa Cruz where your breasts are illegal! Sounds pretty funny right? See you there! - Lara 🫧🌞
