🍊 Tangerine Tales: A Cozy Chapter of OC Cuties 📚 Monthly Book Club Meetup – Huntington Beach First Meetup: Friday, June 27 | 6:30 PM 🌟 SPECIAL KICKOFF ANNOUNCEMENT! For our very first meeting, we’ll be handing out physical copies of our first book: “Shattered Pieces Everywhere” by Christina Maria Martinez — a powerful memoir about resilience, healing, and reclaiming your voice. ✨ As a bonus: Christina herself will be joining us for a virtual author Q&A during our second meetup in July! This is a one of a kind chance to read and discuss the story with the woman who lived it. Calling all book babes, fantasy lovers, and hopeless romantics! OC Cuties is turning the page with our newest adventure. Tangerine Tales, our official book club for women who love stories that empower, enchant, and ignite the heart. Whether you’re someone who devours spicy romances in one sitting, lives for a good plot twist, or just wants to make time to read again. we made this space for you. 📖 WHAT IS TANGERINE TALES? Tangerine Tales is a monthly book club hosted by OC Cuties in sunny Huntington Beach. It’s cozy, casual, and all about building connection through books. We vote on a new title each month. think fierce fantasy heroines, swoon worthy love stories, and stories that make you believe in your own magic. You’ll have time to read it throughout the month, chat online with other cuties, and meet in person for a laid back, potluck style dinner and discussion. Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just looking for an excuse to read one book this year, you’re welcome here. 📅 EVENT DETAILS When: • Once a month at 6:30 PM • Friday, June 27 • Friday, July 25 • Friday, August 22 • Friday, Sept 26 • Friday, Oct 24 Where: • Always Huntington Beach (exact address shared after RSVP) Cost: • FREE! Just bring a small potluck dish to share + your favorite drink • Water, tea, and soda provided Who Can Join? • Women only • No ongoing commitment, come once or every month! • We limit in person spots to 10 to keep things intimate and cozy, but you can always join the Tangerine Tales IG group chat for book talk even if you can’t attend 💬 WHAT TO EXPECT Before the Meetup: • Book voting happens via IG group chat • You’ll have about 3 weeks to read • Group chat stays active with memes, reactions, quotes & convos all month long On Meetup Night: • Chill, cozy setting (indoors or outdoors depending on the month) • Shared potluck dinner • 30–60 minutes of guided book discussion • 30+ minutes of casual girl time + community building Discussion Prompts Might Include: • Favorite character & why • Biggest plot twist or surprise • “If you liked this, you’d also like…” • Fan casting your dream movie version • What the book taught you about yourself 💕 HOW TO JOIN • RSVP here to save one of the 10 in person seats • Want to be part of the ongoing group chat even if you can’t attend IRL?
