COOKBOOK CLUB EP 8: Love Letters from Home!
Happy Valentines Day CBC!
It is so obvious that food is a love language all around the world. Instead of cooking from a cookbook this month, I’d love for us to honor the holiday of love (Valentine’s day) by bringing dishes that hold a special place in your heart and scream “love.”
These can be dishes that are important to you culturally, your favorite comfort food that you ate growing up, something your grandma ALWAYS makes, or anything else that makes you happy and feel warm inside! Feel free to bring snacks, appetizers, main course dishes, or desserts!
Labels for food allergens will be provided and used day of. Please be mindful of required serving temperature, etc.
At the event, we will all sample each other's dishes!
*ABOUT THE VENUE:*
Craft + Carry is a bar that carries/supplies drinks from local breweries. The bar has drinks on tap and in cans. Menu of what they have right now: https://www.craftandcarry.beer/upper-east-side
Craft + Carry was kind enough to let us have our club meetings in the back room of the bar for free! It is not required, but HIGHLY recommended that you purchase a drink from the bar and tip the staff well as a thank you! :)
**IMPORTANT NOTE:**
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME so we can begin when everyone gets there, as we only have the space from 12-2! We aren't able to start eating until mostly everyone shows up, so if you know you won't be able to make it at 12:00 please let me know so I know!

- Your Dish
- Your ID
- Serving Utensils (whatever you need to serve your dish if applicable)
- To go container and utensils (there will be plenty of food to take home after)
